Q1. : How do I access Leadership® Mobile?
Leadership® Mobile comes free with your online subscription to The Leadership Library® on the Internet, the Congressional Leadership Directory® Online, the Federal Leadership Directory® Online, and the News Media Leadership Directory® Online.

Q2.: How do I log in to Leadership® Mobile?
On your mobile browser, go to the Leadership Directories, Inc. website (www.leadershipdirectories.com) and click the Log In button.

Not seeing the page above on your mobile device? Access the Login page for Leadership® Mobile by going to http://ldi.bvdep.com/mobile
On the Login Page, enter your user name and password.

Users with User Name and Password accounts will be able to use their existing user name and passwords to access Leadership® Mobile.
Users with IP or URL Accounts will first have to activate Leadership® Mobile by filling out a simple sign up form to create a user name and password.
Q3.: I don’t have a User Name and Password. How do I get one?
If you are a user with and IP or URL account, you will have to activate Leadership® Mobile by filling out a short form to create a user name and password.
To activate Leadership® Mobile, open up the Leadership® Online product that you subscribe to through a browser on your desktop computer. Click on the Leadership® Mobile banner that will be displayed on the main page.

After the Leadership® Mobile banner is clicked, the Sign Up form will pop up.

Q4.: I forgot my User Name and Password. How can I retrieve them?
Click on “Forgot your login?” at the login page or go directly to http://ldi.bvdep.com/lostpassword.asp and enter the email address on your account. Your access information will be sent by email shortly afterwards.

Q5.: I tried to log in but was directed to a page that says that my user name is in use. What should I do?
Contact your Account Manager or email our technical support team and we will manually log out the session that is in use.
Q6.: Can I use Leadership® Mobile with my handheld device?
Leadership® Mobile is optimized for the latest BlackBerry® smartphones and can be accessed with the iPhone™ digital mobile device, Palm® handhelds, Treo™ smartphones, and devices running Windows Mobile® software.
Please note that to use Leadership® Mobile, JavaScript™ must be enabled.
Q7.: I am a BlackBerry® smartphone user and am having trouble viewing and using Leadership® Mobile. What can I do to fix this?
To enjoy the full functionality of Leadership® Mobile, JavaScript™, HTML tables, style sheets, images, and background images must be enabled.
To enable the features above on your Blackberry® smartphone, follow the steps below:
- Choose “Options” from the Browser menu
- Select “Browser Configuration”
- Check the boxes next to:
- Support Javascript
- Support HTML tables
- Use Background Images
- Support Style Sheets
Q8.: I am logged in. How do I use Leadership® Mobile?
Leadership® Mobile gives you quick access to people and organization contact information. Start by entering the name of a person or organization you want find into the search box on the main page and click the SEARCH button.
From the Search Results Page, click on a person or organization name to view the corresponding People Page or Organization Listing.

- If you select a person from the results, an abbreviated version of the person’s profile will load. This includes the person’s best contact information, biographical information, administrative staff, and a list of the person’s positions.
- To view the full version of a person people page, which includes position specific information, current memberships, and career history, click View Full Profile at the bottom of the page.
- Organization listings can be access from People Pages or from the Search Results page. As with the Leadership® Online, these listings include general contact information for the organization and lists people who have a position in that organization.

Q9.: I don’t see my question listed above. Who can I talk to?
If you have any additional question or problems regarding Leadership® Mobile, please call our technical support staff at (212) 627-4140 (Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. EST) or e-mail us at techsupport@leadershipdirectories.com. You can also use the Help link located at the bottom of each page on Leadership Mobile. We will respond within 15 minutes during our regular hours of operation and will respond the very next business day if contacted outside our regular hours of operation.
