Leadership Directories Names Ruth Hurd Executive Vice President and Chief Content Officer

NEW YORK, NY, September 12, 2005 - Leadership Directories announced the appointment of Ruth Hurd to the newly created position of Executive Vice President and Chief Content Officer (CCO), effective today. Hurd will also become a member of the Company management team. She will be based at the Company's New York headquarters.

Hurd comes to Leadership Directories with a proven track record in content development, operations management, and marketing from the information services industry. She joins from the Thomas Industrial Network, the publisher of the Thomas Register and other business-to-business sourcing guides, where she held several positions, most recently Vice President, Publishing Operations. Prior to that, she held the position of Publisher, Thomas Register of American Manufacturers. Before that, she held positions in product development, marketing, and editorial with the Dun & Bradstreet Corporation.

Hurd earned a BA degree from Bucknell University and is a graduate of the New School for Social Research, where she earned an MA degree in Psychology.
