Leadership Directories, Inc. Launches Congressional Leadership DirectoryŽ Online Daily updates of Members of Congress, Key Congressional Staff, Committees, and Subcommittees, with sophisticated browse, search, and export capabilities

October 3, 2006 - Leadership Directories, Inc. is pleased to announce the launch of Congressional Leadership Directory® Online, the online version of the company's most popular print directory, the Congressional Yellow Book. The new online database includes all Members of Congress, listed with contact information, detailed biographies, leadership roles, committee and subcommittee assignments, district offices, and caucus and group memberships, and staff with biographies and legislative assignments. The Congressional Leadership Directory® Online also includes all Congressional leadership offices, committees, subcommittees, caucuses and groups, and congressional support agencies, listed with all staff.
"To prepare for the launch of the online version of the Congressional Yellow Book, we significantly increased the content in the database," says Ruth Hurd, LDI's EVP and Chief Content Officer. "The Congressional editorial team in Washington, DC added more than 175 Congressional caucuses and other groups, as well as the United States Association of Former Members of Congress, which includes over 500 former Members with current contact information. These efforts were supported by the team in New York, who added more biographical information for Members and Staff, as well as colorful district maps and lists of zip codes and counties represented by each district."
The Congressional Leadership Directory® Online is updated daily. It allows subscribers to browse each Congressional Office, perform a fast keyword searches across the directory, quickly find Members, Staff, or Committee Staff, and easily build lists for export. Subscribers get free, unlimited downloads of a preformatted file of all Members with full contact information. In addition, subscribers receive credits to download up to 5,000 customized records. Exported records can be customized to include any information found in the directory, including biographical information, zip codes represented, counties represented, or Leadership ID™, the unique ID assigned to all individuals in Leadership Directories' database.
