Municipal Governments
The Leadership Directories database includes over 38,000 elected and administrative municipal officials, including individuals in mayoral offices, local authorities, county executive offices, economic development boards, police and fire departments, city councils, commissions, agencies, and more.

Our tools will help you communicate directly with officers and boards of local authorities responsible for ports, transportation, power and water, housing, utilities, and more. Stay up-to-date with new mayors, county executives, and heads of local authorities recently elected or appointed in 2009 (or are up for election in 2010).
Our database contains information on 363 city and town listings, 247 of which have a population greater than 100,000. We list all of the state capitals, regardless of population. Our database also contains 214 counties: the top 126 counties have a population above 375,000, and an additional 88 with population figures below 375,000 are listed. In the case of counties with no formal government, the largest city within that county is included. In the case of combined city/county governments, the information is listed in the cities section.
Our municipal data also includes all of the departments and offices that make up the government of the cities and counties that are included in our listings. This includes 436 city attorneys, 304 city clerks, 188 county attorneys, 127 county clerks, and over 280 county executive and mayoral staff Members. In addition, 77 public and quasi-public authorities are listed.
All municipal mailing addresses, titles, direct-dial telephone and fax numbers, biographical data, and emails are verified by our in-house content managers. Our database also includes term expires dates for elected and appointed officials, began service dates for elected officials, district represented for local representatives as well as the year founded and year incorporated for the cities and counties listed.
