information on leaders in the U.S. offices of non-U.S. corporations, financial institutions, foreign
nations, intergovernmental organizations, media, and law firms. The Winter 2009 edition profiles over
1,000 foreign corporations and financial institutions and their U.S. representative offices; 192 foreign
nations, including embassies, consulates, and permanent missions to the United Nations; 16 intergovernmental
organizations; 173 foreign press outlets; and 29 law firms. The Foreign Representatives
in the U.S. Yellow Book provides access to over 19,000 executives managing the offices of the leading
non-U.S. companies and organizations.

Gaz de France and Suez S.A. of France merged to form GDF SUEZ.
Iberdrola, S.A. of Spain completed its acquisition of Energy East Corporation of Albany, New York.
InBev of the Netherlands completed its acquisition of Anheuser-Busch Companies, Inc. of St. Louis,
Missouri.

Sony Corporation of Japan completed its acquisition of SONY BMG Music Entertainment, now SONY
Music Entertainment Inc., of New York, New York, formerly a joint venture with Bertelsmann AG of
Germany.
