By Diana Morse
Team Leader and Content Manager, Congressional Yellow Book

December 7, 2009

This column highlights changes that have taken place on Capitol Hill since publication of the Fall 2009

Congressional Yellow Book.

Redesigned House of Representatives Listings
You may have noticed that this edition of the Congressional Yellow Book is thinner than your previous
edition. We want to assure you that no information was removed from the directory. Over the past year,
we have been consistently increasing the amount of e-mail addresses, biographical information, and
legislative responsibilities listed for Congressional staffers. As we’ve done this, the book has expanded
in page count. To reduce the amount of paper used in each edition, and to be able to offer our customers
a book that is easy to handle and store, yet still loaded with useful data, we redesigned the listings for
the Members of the House of Representatives, to eliminate white space and make better use of each
page. We hope you like the change and look forward to being able to continue to provide you with more
and more information in upcoming editions of the Congressional Yellow Book.
